IS INDIA FREE OF RACISM

Sunday, August 23, 2009 at 10:26 AM
Started with solving some maths problem but it seems that I was not really interested in that, so decided to do something else. At the end I decided to write something and here I am. However still not getting any topic on which I can write. I was thinking about a topic and in deep side of my mind there was something which compels me to write. There was a recent issue of detained case of shah rukh khan on which I can present my opinion in face of a blog.

Recently there was news of detained case of shah rukh khan on Newark on the way to joining India’s Independence Day celebrations. Immigration officers checked him since his name pop up on machine as a common name (Muslim names). For checking it took 2 hour according to news channel but in reality it was 1hr 10 min which is still long.

On this issue we got so many comments from some magnate personalities, a few were in favour of shah rukh and a few were in favour of US. But somewhere in my mind I thought US did the correct by scrutiny a person without giving any importance to their fame and we should also try to adopt the same, instead of giving more importance to a person than law. However the cause behind their examination was not correct. It seems they simply decided that every Muslim is a terrorist which is not reality.

Many citizens said that “whatever US has done was the incident of discrimination against an Indian” on this I had something in my mind which makes me so perturb that, Are we really care about the racism towards us? Because here itself we can find so many incidents in which we treated Muslim as a different. Recently take the example of sack of jaswant singh from his party because of his remark in favour of jinnah, it proofs that we still judge on the basis of religion. This issue is not so small that I can cover it all here, so by stopping here I would say that we should take this incident in positive way to make ourselves good from inside; then only we can stand with confident and can fight with them whoever will do racism against Indian.

Earthquake

Thursday, August 20, 2009 at 9:08 AM
This was one of mine small experience of earthquake which i felt in very excited way. :)

It was a Strange as well as great feeling for me on 30th July08 at 12:40 am; it was like the earth moving like a wave which moves in water.
I was laid on my floor and enjoying movie on TV. Suddenly I felt as floor moves like wave for small time, it was for very small time and I only felt that because I was laid on mat and other my roommates was in other room sitting on chair so may be because of that they dint felt that.

After that kind of strange feeling I told this to my roommates’ dhora and Azad, that I felt something like an earthquake. But they didn’t felt that feeling so they were not ready to agree with me. Dhora told me that there may be someone’s doors sound but I was sure that it was an earthquake.
When I told this to Azad he told me that he listened sound like something smack strongly however he did not ready to believe that it was an earthquake, he said "may be it was an UFO" in a facetious way.

In morning I got a call from my home and my brother tell me that he heard the news of an earthquake in pune on TV. So I directly come to the conclusion that it was an earthquake and I told to my brother about this also. After that I gave a call to dhora and told that, in TV there is the breaking news “Earthquake in Pune, Maharasthra on 30th july 12:40 am”.

GOA Trip

Saturday, August 15, 2009 at 10:21 AM
All were full of zeal and avid to go GOA. This time we decided to plan our trip in a well planned way. In college time we never success in implement our plans, whenever we had tried for trip with planning; it was always failed. All trips whichever we make in college were unplanned, so this time we have to complete this trip that too in planned manner :)

We started planning for GOA trip during our LONAVALA get together trip and initially all were in for it. This time buddu, who usually torpid for most of the trips, was first to make his ticket reserved. :) After few days a few of us were back out from trip, they were confused with their decision so they said no, which makes others tepid. But someone said very truly “Where there is a will there is a way”, “kehthe hai kisi cheez ko dil se cahyo to puri kayanaat tumhe usse milane main lag jaati hai”. Almost everyone was ready at the end. Finally we reserved tickets for our 8 people from PUNE to GOA.
Now it the time when we all need to left for GOA, our plan was to leave on 6:30pm from my room, but this time aman dhora was late and we had to wait for him. That time all were so angry that if bus will miss then who’ll be responsible for this. We left at 7:15PM from room by Auto for 8:00PM bus to GOA. We reached there on exact time and able to got the bus. We were total 7 people on first day in GOA, we arrived at PANJI in GOA then we left for CALINGUT beach with buddu and bobo who were coming from train. We booked a room on Friday morning near beach and after some time we went to CALINGUT beach. We spend that day on beach by swimming and by riding water scooter and after that we had dinner on beach with taquilla shot and some pinna colada :), love at tokia:) and wine. Everyone has tried something new on that day.

Next day morning our two jaguarians rajeev and raj joined us. Bawa was not able to join us; we were really missing our bawa (pappe) on that day. :(We spent by searching a new room in morning on next day:( after getting a room we had breakfast and went to beach, There we enjoyed a lot this time because we were with our some more jaguarians. After swimming on beach we enjoyed our drink and lunch and spent our afternoon time in appreciating the tremendous beauty of beach and tremendous beauty of people who was around there. Then in evening we move to MARGAO for next day plan. We booked other room there, but this time the room was not as good as earlier one.

Next day morning negi and aazad joined us, which were there commitment; we all went to colva beach for making our dreams of dolphins hunt in camera true. Everyone was very keen to go in center of the sea to check some dolphins there, especially our buddu uncle and maurya. We were success to see a few dolphins but few were captured in camera. Then we took some bear can and start enjoying that moments together, some of us (Avi,buddu,Rajeev) went for massage which was amazing for them
.

In Evening we need to left from goa to pune, our luck was good because we got ticket available for Bus. Buddu and Nandi had reserved ticket of train so they left in afternoon. Rajeev and Raj booked their ticket on the same day and they left for banglore. In this way we all enjoyed our most awaiting trip of GOA. Especially only the one trip which was planned and success

CollegeLife

Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at 5:07 AM

I was more sad (alarm to loose the friends) and more happy (avid to step in corporate life) to leave my college. The 4 years in college have been great for me. Those four years of my college life taught me so many things. At the Same time I made so many good friends with whom I was always happy, with whom I could share any of secrets and call them anytime of day and night. I enjoyed every microsecond and every aspects of my college life. I didn’t do whatever I wanted to do but whatever I did, I was pleased with that.

At the primary time of joining the college I was so depressed since I never came outside to my hometown. It (Ragging Days) was the funniest as well as horrible days of my life, perhaps same for all who faced the ragging. Awful thing in ragging time was you can’t do anything which you want; even you can’t sleep if you need to sleep and the funniest thing in ragging time was thinking and laughing on whatever weird thing you had performed in front of your senior in ragging.

After ragging period of 15 to 20 days, fresher party came and every one was full of zeal to notice girls in full makeup, because during ragging time all of them were in salwar suit with two ponytails in which they were always looked like aunty.(Sorry no offence) Everyone was feeling like a king.

I never had any plan and strategies, nothing at all. I was just doing the things that came on my way. So I never studied for exam during my whole semester, I used to start preparation for Exams in preparation leave, that was the case with all of my flank mates. Preparation leave time was also best days when we used to split our book in two or three pieces for study purpose. We studied together and we scored well. That’s why we call it as wonderful days.

During end of second year of my college time, there was wedding of my roommate’s sister. We bunked college without informing at home for seven days. Initially we tried to get leave in official way by asked our HOD (head of Department), However after rejected our leaves we went by crossed the fence. Though we attended his sister’s wedding. That was really marvelous days since we had enjoyed a lot there.

As time goes I realized that I’m in final year which was end of my college life. After got placement I hardly saw any book in final year, even at the time of practical I didn’t know the experiment name. I used to spend my whole day by doing orkutting and playing computer game (Quake).

Suddenly we realized that there is not much time in our farewell party.
Farewell party is also amazing in our college; it’s more than a simple party, it was a bunch of events. There were so many events before final farewell like “treasure Hunt”, “Guppa Party”, “Slave trade”, “Graffiti”.
In Treasure Hunt our juniors use to give us a clue at starting point and we have to find the destination based on previous clue. Like my first destination according to clue was “SGS Mall” in MG Road then I went to “Planet M” then “Crossword” in JM Road then “Gold Ad labs” then final destination in college. Unfortunately I was not the winner.  For winning this game you need to know all the shortcuts in PUNE city from destination to other.

After few days of Treasure Hunt the day came for “Guppa party” For which almost all of our batch mates scared because in this event one or two juniors for selected seniors have to collect all the information about the weird thing which was done by his seniors in four year.
And on Guppa Party day they have to pull our legs in front of whole college. Sometime we also found something’s which we never known about our batch mates.

Now it was the final last day in my college, when all were busy in shifting their luggage from hostel to their rooms. That was so dreadful day since after college we can’t meet as often as we were in hostel and one more reason was that we all were in different company.

Now it’s more than one year after passing out from college we still meet sometimes but not often. Things are changed; everyone is running and trying to come first in the race of life. Each one who was so torpid at college time now is so energetic to shape their career. Some incidents really change the way to live the life. Same is happening with us, everyone who had never thought about tomorrow, who had never planned for tomorrow, but today they plan everything for tomorrow before go to bed. 
